WHAT IS THE HOLISM FOUNDATION
FOR
EDUCATION, HEALTH, AND SOCIAL ACTION?
The Holism Foundation for Education,
Health, and Social Action was organized on January 30,
1990, as a non-profit, Non-Governmental Organization
without government subsidies, with the purpose to research
and disseminate the holistic paradigm as applied to
education, health, and social action.
The Foundation is registered in the
Inspección General de Justicia, Buenos Aires.
Argentina, under number C 1.520.371, and has been accepted
as a Non-Profit Entity for the common good according
to Decree 6708 of the Municipality of Vicente Lopez,
Buenos Aires. It was also registered in the Registro
de Institutos de Perfeccionamiento Docente (Register
of Institutes for Teacher Continuous Education) of the
City of Buenos Aires (DGEGP) under number C-172.
In accordance with its statute, The
Holism Foundation for Education, Health, and Social
Action holds no religious, political or racial purposes
and promotes the rejection of all physical, psychological,
educational or social violence.
It is chaired
by Mabel Fernández and under the direction of
Carlos G. Wernicke.
Mabel Fernández is a social worker with experience in the field of community development (including mother-child health care), minority (including low-income minority) and social work and prevention in mental health. Her interest in the totality of the human being led her to study the body expressions, for which she is also a Body Work Instructor (Greyg method and coordination of body practices) and masotherapist. She is presently working in the field of conflict resolution in the area of preliminary diagnosis and consultation about specific therapies.
