The Mission of
The Holism Foundation for Education, Health, and Social
Action consists of the study, dissemination,
and promotion of the holistic vision with the goal of
enriching the practice with concrete approaches in pedagogy,
medicine, psychology, and social action that mean a
real and effective progress in the development of individuals
and contexts, as the diagnosis and treatment of their
difficulties.
From its beginning, The Holism Foundation for Education,
Health, and Social Action has been dedicated to action
in the areas of education, health, and social action
for persons who wish to improve their quality of life,
in prevention as in disease, including those with special
needs, summoning all persons interested in this vision
in the sciences, philosophy, and the arts.
To this end, its Director, Prof. Carlos G. Wernicke, has brought together the diverse developed approaches into a unified body of ideas, the
Systemic – Dynamic – Transdimensional Approach.
The procedures that have resulted through these years are:
•
The Containment Therapy for pervasive developmental disorders (autisms, early psychoses) and related severe bonding disturbances (1987)
•
The Comprehensive Approach in Early Intervention (1993)
•
The Teachers for Peace Program: Training of Teachers in Non-Violence (1996)
•
The Contextual Pedagogy (2001)
•
The Transdimensional Model in Attention Deficit (2003)
•
The Parents Consulting Project (2004)
•
